Ex enclosures
Protecting your components is essential, especially in potentially explosive atmospheres. With our Ex enclosures, they are optimally stowed away - dust, gases or other materials cannot get in.
Our product portfolio includes a large selection of terminal enclosures and blank enclosures made of aluminum and polyester. We can also implement customer-specific requirements on request.
Expertise for potentially explosive atmospheres
All Bernstein industrial enclosures made of aluminum and (glass fiber reinforced) polyester are also available as explosion-proof versions with ATEX and IECEx approvals. The enclosures can be obtained with U approval as incomplete equipment or with device certification as a ready-to-use product.
The protection class of the enclosures is at least IP65;IP66 and IP67 versions can also be manufactured on request. The empty enclosures and terminal enclosures can be used in both gas and dust areas. They are designed for temperature classes T4 to T6. The enclosures and devices are usually installed in zones 1 and 2.
As part of an all-round service package, Bernstein can of course carry out all customer-specific processing and approval-compliant assembly so that our customers receive a ready-to-use, standard-compliant and certified product on request. Specific developments and additional certifications can also be carried out at the customer's request.
