Type CA
Aluminum enclosures
These housings are made of aluminum alloys with copper, silicon, iron and manganese. This gives them many different positive properties. The iron element, for example, ensures higher conductivity, which is particularly advantageous in the electrical sector.
Other properties include increased strength, corrosion and temperature resistance, good thermal conductivity and coating options as well as very good shielding properties.
Type CT
Polycarbonate and ABS enclosures
The standard enclosures in the CT series are made of ABS and polycarbonate (PC). These are particularly suitable for encapsulating electrical and electronic components as well as complete small control units.
ABS plastic is characterized by its low weight, high impact and scratch resistance, chemical resistance and good insulating properties. Polycarbonate, on the other hand, is stronger and more rigid than ABS.
Type CP
Polyester enclosures
The group of plastic enclosures in the CP series consists of unsaturated polyester resins with glass fiber reinforcement. These are processed by compression molding. The polyester resins have good electrical properties and favorable dielectric behavior.
Polyester enclosures are therefore particularly suitable for harsh environmental conditions or potentially explosive areas for housing and encapsulating electrical and electronic components and control components.
