BERNSTEIN AG sharpens market position

As a supplier of industrial safety and enclosure technology, BERNSTEIN AG from Porta Westfalica is combining its expertise in the DETECT and PROTECT divisions. With effect from 1 January 2022, the two divisions DETECT (safety technology) & PROTECT (enclosure technology) will operate as two independent sales divisions - united under the umbrella of the BERNSTEIN brand.

"In the recent past, the safety technology (DETECT) and enclosure technology (PROTECT) business areas have increasingly developed into specialist areas for which a personal focus and detailed knowledge of the sales colleagues has become indispensable. We would like to do justice to this fact by splitting up into two independent sales divisions. Because our products are as individual as the requirements of our customers," says Nicole Bernstein, member of the board of the family-owned company.

In future, customers of the company will have a sales colleague available for each of the DETECT (safety technology) and PROTECT (enclosure technology) divisions, who will provide advice and develop solutions in the respective area. "Of course, the communication channels within BERNSTEIN AG will remain short as before, and so will the exchange between the two areas," adds Nicole Bernstein.

The company wants to inform its customers promptly about new contact persons in the office and field sales. In some sales regions, the division between DETECT and PROTECT has already been completed smoothly.
